A few years ago making a hobby circuit WiFi capable costed at least 30$-40$. In the past year Espressif Systems introduced a very cheap and smart solution for WiFi connectivity.

Camera crane control
In my first English post I want to present you a control circuit I made for a camera crane. At present this circuit drives 2 stepper motors, has USB interface for bootloader and communicates with a radio module - making the control wireless.
